What's Up Wednesday: Mr Middle

It's great to be eight.

I think.

S is having a great time at school.  He has a lot of goofy friends who he really enjoys playing Harry Potter-esque games with at recess.  He wishes his mom was more into playdates, but what's a gal to do?  I can barely remember to open the door for him most days after school.  I need to get on that. {quick flashback to having to drive and pick up back in CA, I sure don't miss that}.

He is loving cub scouts.  He's achieved wolf, I think (scouting, not really my area).  I really appreciate the church's scouting program.  It builds a lot in these little boys.

He is obsessed with being the smartest at EVERYTHING.  He likes to tell everyone he's a genius.  He's actually been doing that for a while but I'm sure it's getting REALLY old to his classmates.  I'm hoping that peer pressure will be the nix on that one.

He still loves crafting and playing with all sorts of toys.  He's still definitely pretty little, especially when compared to Mr C.  I'm glad, I'd like to keep him that way a little longer.
